RESUMEN. Durante los años 40 a los 80 del S. XX el medio rural aragonés, y especialmente el turolense, vivió un fuerte proceso migratorio hacia las ciudades y las zonas industriales. Es un fenómeno que se ha estudiado desde una perspectiva eminentemente masculina dejando de lado las corrientes migratorias femeninas,
que aunque con similitudes, cuentan con particularidades propias a su género. En este estudio hacemos breve repaso de estos procesos indagando en las causas y consecuencias del mismo.
ABSTRACT. During the 40s to the 80s of the 20th century, the rural Aragonese, and especially the province of Teruel, experienced a strong migratory process to the cities and industrial areas, it is a phenomenon that has been studied from an eminently male perspective, leaving aside the female migratory flows, which, although with similarities, have their own gender-specific characteristics. In this study we briefly review these processes, investigating their causes and consequences.
